Job summary

M&N Excavators is seeking an Excavator Operator based in Oxford, Mississippi. The successful candidate will maintain equipment cleanliness, operate machinery according to instructions, and ensure safety at all times. Responsibilities necessitate 2+ years of relevant experience, good vision and hearing, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. The position offers a competitive pay range of $15 to $30 per hour, and a retention bonus of $2,000 to $5,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in excavation or operating heavy machinery.
• Good vision and hearing, with or without correction.
• Ability to remain seated in the operating area for prolonged periods.

Job Responsibilities

• Uses either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate equipment
• Read and follow written instructions to complete excavation work
• Identify and avoid overhead and underground hazards
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2 plus year experience
• Must have good vision and hearing (either naturally or with correction)
• Ability to remain stationary in seat/operating area for prolonged periods
• Basic writing skills to accurately complete reports and paperwork
• Ability to work overtime
• Must work well independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic

Pay Range $15.00 to $30.00 plus Retention Bonus of $2,000 to $5,000 (Depending on experience)
