Job Summary

Safely operates various heavy equipment including backhoes, excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, haul trucks, and water trucks. Responsible for preventative maintenance and pre-shift inspections to ensure safe operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain positive relationships with crew members.
• Produce high-quality work safely and efficiently.
• Ensure availability of materials, tools, and information.
• Identify improvement opportunities and learn from others.
• Share knowledge and mentor team members.
• Perform preventative maintenance proficiently.
• Inspect work for accuracy and compliance, and correct deficiencies.
• Eliminate waste in processes.

Minimum Job Requirements

• 3+ years (Level I), 4+ years (Level II), 5+ years (Level III), or 6+ years (Senior) experience in industrial/commercial construction with heavy equipment operation knowledge.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and safety standards; proficient with trade tools.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Work up to 12 hours in varying outdoor conditions.
• Climb, balance, lift up to 50 lbs, and handle objects frequently.
• Use safety equipment and move in confined or uneven areas.
