Job summary

Valley Recycling in Logan, UT is seeking a driven Heavy Equipment Operator to help keep materials flowing and the yard running smoothly. You will operate various machines, load/unload trucks, and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of heavy equipment experience, works well in a team, and maintains a positive, customer-service oriented attitude in a fast-paced environment. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be at the heart of our operation keeping materials flowing and the yard running smoothly:

• Operate heavy equipment like a pro (material handlers, loaders, forklifts, skid steers & more)
• Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely
• Move and organize scrap materials for processing and recycling
• Perform pre and post-trip equipment inspections (because safety starts with you)
• Spot maintenance issues early and communicate with our maintenance team
• Follow safety protocols like it's second nature
• Deliver a \"WOW\" customer experience to drivers, vendors, and teammates
• Jump in where needed-because teamwork is how we win
