Job Description

We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator with GPS experience to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing excavation tasks with precision and efficiency, reporting to the Site Supervisor.

Responsibilities

1. Operate heavy equipment equipped with GPS technology for precision grading and finishing work
2. Read and interpret blueprints and project plans
3. Work independently to complete tasks on time and according to specifications
4. Maintain safety and quality standards on-site
5. Perform routine maintenance on equipment
6. Collaborate with team members and supervisors
7. Perform other related duties as assigned
8. Operate power tools and industrial equipment as needed
9. Assist with manual labor tasks as directed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in site development, operating excavators, dozers, skid steers, tractors, and front-end loaders
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions
• Adherence to all safety policies and procedures
• Effective communication skills with supervisors and team members
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Additional certifications or apprenticeship experience is a plus
• Provide three personal references
