Job summary

Building Ventures is hiring skilled heavy equipment operators in the Dallas area for construction and earthmoving projects. You will run excavators, loaders, dozers, graders and other machinery to move material, shape grades and prepare sites for paving and utilities, on public and private sites.

Expect full days on location with possible overtime. Minimum 2–3 years on civil/industrial projects; CDL Class A preferred; OSHA 10 is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of heavy construction equipment operation on civil/industrial projects.
  • Experience with excavator, loader, dozer and motor grader.
  • Ability to read site plans and grade stakes.
  • OSHA safety training and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Operate excavators, dozers, graders, loaders and related equipment.
  • Follow site plans and supervisor directions to meet elevations.
  • Load/unload materials and coordinate traffic controls on site.
  • Perform daily inspections, routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
  • Maintain logs and report safety issues or defects.

Job description

About this roleExperienced heavy equipment operators needed for construction and earthmoving projects across Dallas, Texas. You'll run excavators, loaders, dozers, graders and other machines to move material, shape grades and prepare sites for paving and utilities. This is hands-on field work on public and private construction sites. Expect full days on location, project-based schedules, possible overtime and occasional weekend work depending on project timelines.
