Job summary

Qualifications

• Equivalent to completion of the 12th grade.
• Four years journey-level vehicle/equipment maintenance experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Valid California driver’s license; ability to obtain forklift and AC certificates within one year.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and manage the shop operations.
• Develop, implement, communicate, and evaluate divisional goals, programs, policies, and procedures.
• Direct staff and day-to-day divisional activities.
• Interview, select, train, and evaluate staff.
• Develop and monitor the division annual budget and fixed asset needs.
