Job Expectations

This position is responsible for the preventive maintenance and repair of the company's fleet of construction equipment. Candidates should be capable of diagnosing and repairing defects in equipment such as excavators, loaders, scrapers, tractors, trucks, and small equipment like water pumps, generators, and saws. The role requires understanding and executing oral and written instructions, aiming to reduce repair costs and turnaround times, increase equipment productivity, and enhance company profits. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment for safety and operational standards, using hand and power tools for maintenance and repairs, and performing incidental welding operations. Completing standardized reports is also part of the job.

Job Requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and schematics
  • Knowledge of Diesel Engines, Hydraulics, Transmissions, Differentials, Final Drives, Electrical/Electronic Systems, Pneumatics, and Metal Fabrication/Welding
  • Valid Class A driver's license
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
