Job summary

The City of Superior is seeking an experienced Full Time Heavy Equipment Mechanic for its Public Works Department. Candidates must have knowledge of automotive repair methods and tools, along with a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License. This position offers a starting wage range of approximately $27.59 - $34.48, commensurate with qualifications and experience, along with various benefits including Health/Dental Insurance and Paid time off from day 1.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of automotive repair methods and tools.
• Ability to maintain records and communicate effectively.
• Experience in welding and vehicle diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled automotive repairs and welding on vehicles.
• Maintain and repair construction and maintenance equipment.
• Work under the supervision of Fleet Manager or Working Foreman.
