• Willingness to work variable schedules.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs heavy truck and construction equipment malfunctions on all major systems.
• Overhauls and rebuilds components and equipment on heavy truck and construction equipment.
• Uses test equipment to diagnose defects on heavy truck and construction equipment.
• Works on equipment such as 3.5-ton single axle, 10-ton tandem axle, tractor-trailers, front end loaders, motor graders, and paving machines.
• Performs preventative maintenance and annual safety inspections.
• Orders and procures parts and supplies; uses computers to track vehicles.
