Preferred Materials - Concrete Division is seeking a Mechanic II to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair on heavy equipment. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and timely repairs to support field operations.

Qualified candidates typically have 2–3 years of heavy equipment repair experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. CDL is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position with CRH benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years maintenance and heavy equipment repair experience.

Responsabilités

• Maintains and repairs heavy mobile equipment and components.
• Inspects, tests, and documents repairs for safety and compliance.
• Coordinates with Operations to schedule maintenance activities.
• Performs road tests and responds to road calls as needed.
• Ensures adherence to safety standards and procedures.
• Maintains accurate records and inventory related to repairs.
