Job summary

CRH Preferred Materials - Concrete Division in Tampa, FL seeks a Mechanic II to maintain, test, and repair heavy equipment and components. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and timely repairs to support operations across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of heavy equipment maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read instructions and work under varying weather conditions. CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between operations to maintain schedules and safety standards.
• Perform maintenance repairs on mobile equipment and verify repairs.
• Inspect and document repairs and inventory.
• Perform road tests and road calls as required.
• Adhere to safety standards and follow written and verbal instructions.
