Edw. C. Levy Co. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Blytheville, AR. This role involves the repair and maintenance of heavy-duty off-road construction equipment. Candidates should exhibit mechanical aptitude, knowledge of diesel engines, and off-road heavy equipment maintenance experience. Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, climb, or crawl under/on equipment.
• Ability to manipulate components in hard to reach places.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety regulations and record-keeping.
• Dismantle and reassemble trucks and equipment.
• Visually inspect and listen to equipment to locate malfunctions.
• Utilize diagnostic software to troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Weld, cut, and fabricate equipment and components.

Skills

Mechanical aptitude
