Job summary

Wolfe House Movers in Bernville, PA seeks an experienced, hands-on mechanic to maintain and repair trucks, trailers and heavy equipment, with emphasis on brakes, suspensions, hydraulics and electrical systems.

The role focuses on diagnostics, safe work practices, and quality workmanship, requiring the ability to work independently or with a team. Welding or fabrication is a plus, and applicants should bring basic tools and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical experience working on trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery.
• Experience with trucks trailer maintenance and repair (brakes, suspension, electrical, air systems)
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs independently
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems or heavy equipment (preferred)
• Basic welding or fabrication skills are a plus
• Ability to work safely and maintain an organized shop environment
• Must have own basic mechanic tools
• Valid driver's license (CDL A is a plus but not required)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in a hands-on shop environment
