Qualifications

• Requires experience repairing diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• 25% travel required (travel expenses reimbursed).
• Experience repairing air brakes; certification preferred but not required.
• Experienced in welding and small fabrication.
• Must have at least 3 years experience working as a mechanic or service technician.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk – sometimes long distances over uneven and wet surfaces.
• Overtime availability with short/same day notice.
• Class A CDL preferred; fifth wheel endorsement a plus.

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance and service of fleet vehicles at assigned intervals.
• Documentation of PM reports & equipment repair logs.
• Repair of fleet equipment such as Ford, Peterbilt, John Deere, Altec, Terex, Versalift, International, Cat and Vermeer equipment.
