Barnhart in Memphis is seeking a hands-on Mechanic to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of heavy equipment, including diesel engines, cranes, trailers, and forklifts. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and work both in the shop and in the field with a mix of stability and variety.

Candidates should have 1–3+ years in diesel or heavy equipment repair, strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and be willing to travel occasionally.

Formación

• 1-3+ years of diesel or heavy equipment mechanic experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload without constant supervision.
• Must provide your own standard tools (specialty tools provided).
• Willingness to work safely in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and diagnostics on diesel engines, cranes, trailers, forklifts, and more.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, including onboard computer systems.
• Work both in the shop and in the field, giving you a mix of stability and variety.
• Operate independently, managing your day-to-day workload while collaborating with the team.
• Travel occasionally to support field service needs.
