Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years experience repairing heavy construction equipment.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, powertrain components, and diagnostics.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy construction equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel-powered machinery.
• Repair engines, transmissions, final drives, pumps, and undercarriage components.
• Read manuals, hydraulic schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Use diagnostic software and manufacturer tools to troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate with operators and maintain repair records.
• Work at construction sites and during emergencies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with OSHA policies.
