Job summary

Dyno Nobel, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair our mobile fleet and fixed assets across mining, construction, and blasting operations.

You will diagnose diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems, and perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment safe and productive. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certifications preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment, diesel mechanics, or industrial maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Diesel and gasoline engines, Hydraulic and pneumatic systems, Electrical systems and Welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair on heavy equipment, diesel engines, and company vehicles.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain and repair mobile processing units (MPUs), bulk delivery systems, and blending equipment.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and service logs to ensure compliance and equipment reliability.
• Manage parts inventory, procurement, and cost control.
• Support equipment inspections, safety checks, and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise and mentor junior mechanics and technicians.
