Summit Line Construction in Phoenix seeks an experienced Mechanic to perform maintenance, repair and diagnostics on vehicles and equipment, ensuring safe operation. The role supports daily operations with precise documentation and adherence to safety standards.

Candidates bring 5+ years of mechanic experience, heavy diesel repair, hydraulic/electrical repairs, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a mechanic.
• Experience with heavy diesel repair and maintenance.
• Experience with heavy & yellow iron equipment.
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical repairs.
• Knowledge of fuel systems; diesel and gas.
• Ability to perform electrical diagnostics using a scanner.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to manage a schedule and organize time.
• DOT Medical card Required.
• CDL Class A (Preferred).
• Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on vehicles and equipment.
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment.
• Operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects.
• Test mechanical products for performance and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of time and materials.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
