Qualifications

• Proficient in repair of construction equipment and pickups.
• Ability to inspect and approve repair work on equipment.
• Locate defects and estimate repair feasibility and type.
• Knowledge of safety hazards and precautions.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Welding to fabricate/strengthen parts is a plus.
• Safety policies must be followed.
• Requires drug screen and basic physical.
• Valid AZ driver license and acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, diagnoses, and repairs diesel-powered construction and automotive equipment.
• Examines and locates mechanical defects.
• Performs engine tune-ups, brakes, electrical and hydraulic system repairs.
• Keeps records of time and materials used.
• Operates a variety of light and heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• May be required to work overtime.
