Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking individuals for a Construction Vehicle Repairer role. You will maintain heavy equipment, including trucks, bulldozers, and shovels, to support construction operations.

Expect paid training with a combination of classroom and field instruction. You will earn a regular paycheck during service and qualify for tuition assistance, with opportunities for student loan repayment and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard.
• Must be at least a junior in high school or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be between ages 17 and 35.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Service drive shafts, universal joints, service brake shoes, water pumps, and turbochargers.
• Maintain and replace cylinder heads, high-pressure fuel injection pumps, and road wheels.
