Job summary

Evans Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a qualified Maintenance/Mechanics professional to repair and maintain construction equipment across our Wyoming projects. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience, with a valid driver’s license and a strong safety mindset.

You will troubleshoot, dismantle, and service heavy equipment—trucks, batch plants, paving machines, and more—ensuring reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work well with others and handle pressure.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots problems, making economical and durable repairs.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists and hand tools.
• Maintains and repairs heavy equipment, trucks, shop, and non-mobile equipment on a company-wide basis.
• Services vehicles/equipment including oil changes, greasing, fluids, filters, and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoots and repairs electrical and hydraulic systems, engines and transmissions.
• Orders parts and supplies; manages purchase orders and invoices; uses computer for job functions.
