Matthai Material Handling & Vitan Equipment is seeking an experienced Forklift Technician / Field Service Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty equipment at customer locations across the district. The role focuses on diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in diverse field environments.

The position offers a generous hourly rate, company vehicle with a fuel card, and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts, heavy equipment, diesel trucks, or automotive mechanics transitioning to heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems directly at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to keep local businesses running.
• Hit the road across your assigned territory—no getting stuck in the same shop every day.
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards.
• Log your service work accurately via mobile dispatch and communicate updates clearly.
