Job summary

Vitan Equipment seeks an experienced Forklift Technician / Hydraulic Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy‑duty material handling equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in the field, with a focus on safety and uptime.

Take-home service truck, company vehicle and fuel card provided, plus a full benefits package and a generous sign-on bonus. This role operates across the assigned territory with no nights or weekends required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts, heavy equipment, diesel trucks, or automotive systems.
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems at customer sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs for local businesses.
• Travel across assigned territory to service equipment in the field.
• Ensure equipment safety and compliance with operating standards.
• Log service work via mobile dispatch and provide clear updates.

• Log your service work accurately via mobile dispatch and communicate updates clearly

What You’ll Need
