Buffalo Lift Trucks & Vitan Equipment is seeking an experienced Forklift Technician / Field Service Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty material handling equipment at customer sites across the Buffalo region.

You’ll work on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, perform preventive maintenance, and travel within your territory with a company truck and fuel card provided. No nights and weekends, full benefits, and earning potential through base pay plus commissions.

Formación

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts, heavy equipment, diesel trucks, or auto mechanics looking to transition to heavy equipment.
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record to operate the company service truck

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems directly at customer locations
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to keep local businesses running
• Hit the road across your assigned territory—no getting stuck in the same shop every day
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards
• Log your service work accurately via mobile dispatch and communicate updates clearly
