Matthai Material Handling & Vitan Equipment is seeking an experienced Forklift Technician / Field Service Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty equipment at customer sites in Baltimore. This field-based role leverages your diagnostic expertise across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to keep operations running smoothly.

You will travel across your territory, perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs, and ensure equipment safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment.
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems directly at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to keep local businesses running.
• Hit the road across your assigned territory—no getting stuck in the same shop every day.
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards.
• Log your service work accurately via mobile dispatch and communicate updates clearly.

If you have experience in forklift, diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment repair, this field-based role offers the perfect change of pace to utilize your diagnostic expertise across complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
