Job summary

ORE Rentals, based in Upper Macungie Township, Pennsylvania, is seeking to expand its Outstanding Team with a full-time equipment maintenance technician. Responsibilities include performing maintenance and repairs on various types of machinery, including diesel engines and hydraulic systems, ensuring that work is executed safely and effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating and repairing diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Communicate verbally and in writing in a service-oriented manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on rental and shop equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot various systems including fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and propane.
• Ensure work is performed safely and responsibly.

Full Time

Monday through Friday 7AM-5PM

Key Job Responsibilities

• Experience in latest electronically controlled machinery and heavy equipment
• Responsible for repairs and general maintenance to all rental and shop equipment:
• Internal Combustion Engines (both gas and diesel)
• Propane & hydraulic systems
• Track & Aerial Equipment
• Able to fully comprehend hydraulic and electrical schematics with a history of successful troubleshooting and technical experience
• Diagnose and troubleshoot: fuel systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems and propane systems
• Must be able to communicate verbally and written in a service-oriented manner to fellow team members, vendors, and manufacturers for questions and support
• Perform work in a safe and responsible manner

Requirements/Skills:

• Hands-on experience with diesel engines and hydraulics
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and in a team setting
• Ability to handle assorted tools safely
• Basic computer knowledge to open and close work orders
• Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. and infrequently lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to climb over and into heavy equipment occasionally.
