Job summary

SA Recycling in Norcross is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform diagnostic, repair, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of heavy equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and keep accurate service records.

This on-site role requires safety-minded work habits, willingness to work in varying weather, and the ability to order parts and coordinate with yard management. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hydraulic, electrical, and diesel maintenance experience desirable.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
• Bi-lingual English and Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conducts diagnostic, troubleshooting, and service tasks for fuel, electrical, mechanical, brake, and hydraulic systems on heavy equipment.
• Completes routine maintenance per manufacturer and SA Recycling guidelines.
• Maintains accurate service records on all work performed.
• Order and maintain spare parts inventory.
• Interact with yard General Managers to schedule maintenance or repairs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly working area.
• Safely use vehicles, equipment, and hand/power tools.
