Job summary
SA Recycling is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair work on a variety of heavy equipment at the Norcross yard. You will handle electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, manage parts inventory, and document service records.
The role requires a vocational/technical degree (preferred), experience in hydraulic, electrical, and diesel maintenance, the ability to work in varying weather conditions, and willingness to undergo drug screening and
Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical degree highly desired.
- Hydraulic, electrical, and diesel maintenance experience highly desired.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
- Must pass drug screen, physical and background check.
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conducts diagnostic, troubleshooting, and service tasks for heavy equipment.
- Performs routine maintenance such as oil and filter changes.
- Maintains service records.
- Orders and maintains spare parts inventory.
- Coordinates with yard management for maintenance.
- Safely uses tools and keeps area clean.
