SA Recycling is seeking a mechanically skilled technician to service and repair heavy equipment including forklifts, bobcats, loaders, and excavators. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate record-keeping, and coordinating with yard managers for scheduled repairs in varied weather conditions. Drug screens and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mobile Equipment mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
• Must be willing to pass drug screen, physical and background check.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair fuel, electrical, mechanical, brake, cooling and hydraulic systems on heavy mobile equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks (oil/filters, lubrication, brakes) per manufacturer recommendations.
• Replace worn parts and rebuild major components like power trains and crawler heads.
• Overhaul and test engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems for efficiency.
• Keep accurate service records and schedule future maintenance.
• Order and manage spare parts inventory and maintain a clean, safe work area.
