Job summary

McGill Environmental Systems is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our Morrisville, PA facility. You will maintain and repair heavy equipment, with emphasis on Front-End Loaders, to support compost production.

The role operates Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM with occasional overtime and weekends as needed, and offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid leave.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong experience maintaining and repairing Front-End Loaders
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems on heavy equipment
• Mechanical aptitude and strong hands- on troubleshooting skills
• Ability to perform maintenance and repairs with minimal supervision
• Ability to work outdoors and in industrial environments
• Reliable transportation to the Morrisville, PA facility
• Strong attendance and work ethic

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on Front-End Loaders and other heavy equipment
• Assist with preventive maintenance activities on conveyors, screens, grinders, and production equipment
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and basic electrical issues
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential problems before failures occur
• Report equipment issues and safety concerns promptlyMaintain organization of tools, parts, and maintenance areas
• Support senior technicians with repairs and maintenance projects
• Follow all company safety procedures and equipment protocols
• Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned
