McGill Environmental Systems is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our Morrisville, PA facility. You will maintain and repair heavy equipment, with emphasis on Front-End Loaders, to support compost production.

The role operates Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM with occasional overtime and weekends as needed, and offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid leave.

The Role

As a Maintenance Technician I, you'll help keep our operation running by maintaining and repairing the heavy equipment and production systems that support compost manufacturing.

We're specifically looking for candidates with experience working on Front-End Loaders and similar heavy equipment. While diesel truck experience is helpful, the primary focus of this role is maintaining and troubleshooting the equipment used in daily production operations.

Candidates who have experience both maintaining and operating loaders are especially valuable, as there may be opportunities to assist with equipment operation when production needs require additional support.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and work on uneven terrain
• Ability to frequently move throughout the facility and maintenance areas
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to push, pull, and maneuver tools, equipment, and materials
• Ability to work around dust, dirt, mud, noise, heavy machinery, and changing weather conditions
• Ability to wear required PPE and respiratory protection when necessary
