Job summary

W-L Construction and Paving Inc, a CRH company, is seeking a Lube/Grease/Fuel Field Technician to support equipment operations at construction sites, asphalt plants, quarries, and other locations across Virginia. You will fuel, grease, inspect, and perform routine maintenance while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a valid CDL, endorsements, and 3+ years of equipment experience. Competitive pay and benefits are offered in a full-time, on-site position with flexible schedules as

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required.
• Tanker endorsement required; Hazmat endorsement preferred or ability to obtain.
• 3+ years of heavy equipment operation and/or maintenance experience.
• Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment and commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and inspection requirements.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Complete Daily Risk Assessments and report near misses, incidents, and hazards.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Fuel, grease, and service heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• Identify and report equipment issues requiring repair.
• Safely operate heavy equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate equipment concerns to supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
