Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH Company, is seeking a Loader Operator to operate heavy equipment on construction sites in Louisiana. You will perform pre- and post-inspections, follow safety procedures, and work with a team to meet project goals.

The role requires 1-3 years of related experience or training, a High School diploma or GED, and the ability to read blueprints and perform basic math. Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment on construction sites.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic measurements.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Report any problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or Human Resources Manager.
• Follow direction of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each project or jobsite.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refer major problems to the supervisor.
• Perform daily pre-and-post inspections with appropriate documentation.
• Assist in training less-experienced employees on the proper operations, servicing, and repair of equipment to further their abilities.
• Perform general laboring duties when necessary.
