Job summary

Texas Materials, A CRH company, is seeking a Loader Operator in Longview, Texas to operate heavy equipment for groundwork and construction projects. You will perform daily inspections, follow safety policies, and work with a team to meet project goals.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience. The role requires reliability, good communication, the ability to travel when required, and a willingness to work nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment of various sizes safely and efficiently.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Report problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or Human Resources Manager.
• Follow direction of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each project or jobsite.
• Perform daily pre-and-post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Assist in training less-experienced employees on the proper operations, servicing, and repair of equipment.
• Perform general laboring duties when necessary.
• Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
