• Ability to select appropriate tie-downs and edge protection to immobilize loads.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate trucks and trailers for transporting heavy equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Load, secure, and unload equipment meeting DOT and manufacturer requirements with minimum four tie-downs for loads over 10,000 lbs.
• Plan transport routes considering permits and safety for oversized loads.
• Maintain transportation logs, delivery receipts, and inspection documents as required.
