Job summary

W-L Construction and Paving, Inc. is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Driver / Equipment Hauler to support construction operations by transporting equipment between job sites, highways, private roadways, parking lots, driveways, and active work zones.

This role requires operating multi-axle and tractor vehicles and is essential for meeting daily production schedules. The candidate must have a valid Class A CDL with endorsements and a proven safety record.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with required endorsements maintained; strong safety focus.
• Experience moving and transporting construction equipment between sites.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including long shifts, overtime, weekends, and travel as needed.
• Commitment to safe operation of heavy vehicles and proper use of PPE.

Responsibilities

• Transport construction equipment safely between job sites as directed by supervisors.
• Collaborate with crews to mobilize equipment and support daily schedules and production goals.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while operating vehicles and equipment.
• Perform daily truck inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist with flagging operations when required.
• Maintain PPE and ensure it remains in proper working condition.
• Support crew operations and assist with other tasks as needed to complete projects.
• Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with coworkers, customers, and the public.
