RYCOE Enterprises Inc. is seeking an experienced, full-time Heavy Equipment Operator/Foreman to lead a field crew. You will operate excavators, loaders and other machinery while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence on high-value projects.

You will delegate tasks, monitor progress, read blueprints, and maintain site documentation. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and willingness to work extended hours in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Strong safety and site practices knowledge.
• Proficient with excavation equipment operation.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Expertly operate excavators, skid-steers, loaders and other heavy equipment while overseeing daily project activities.
• Organize and delegate tasks to the crew to ensure they understand the scope of work and meet company standards.
• Perform daily expectation meetings and set the example safety, productivity and accountability
• Ensure work is completed according to project plans and identify potential issues or changes to scope of work that could affect the project timeline.
• Communicate daily updates to management regarding job progress, labor, equipment and material needs to avoid potential delays in the schedule.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand grades and elevations.
• Maintain accurate daily job notes, time records and other required field documentation.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
