Job summary

Altorfer Industries seeks a skilled field service technician to perform heavy equipment repairs and preventive maintenance at customer sites and in the shop. You will deliver superior service while upholding Altorfer’s professional image and safety standards.

You will be responsible for thorough documentation, timely communication, and efficient parts coordination. A Class B CDL is required, with travel to multiple locations as needed and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 7+ years Heavy Equipment experience.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management and decision-making.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills; maintain professional image.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety procedures and processes.
• Complete service reports, inspection checklists and timecards within guidelines.
• Use SIS, ET and service manuals for repairs and maintenance.
• Segment jobs and order parts, return unneeded parts after completion.
• Communicate job status to customers and office staff.
