Job summary

Altorfer Industries is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site repairs and preventive maintenance for heavy equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and powertrain systems, use official manuals, and document all service activities with accuracy.

The role requires 7+ years of heavy equipment experience, a valid Class B CDL or higher, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Travel and varied schedules are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years of Heavy Equipment experience.
• Ability to perform high quality repairs and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service repairs and preventive maintenance at customer sites and in shop.
• Use SIS and ET, consult parts and service manuals for troubleshooting.
• Fill out service reports, inspection checklists and timecards accurately.
• Communicate job status to customers and office personnel; coordinate with dispatch.
• Maintain tools and equipment, including company vehicle; ensure safety practices.
• Travel between locations; work in varying environmental conditions; operate with CDL.
