Work is performed in a shop and field settings; the technician will maintain tools, troubleshoot electrical/hydraulic systems, and ensure timely completion with minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and five years heavy equipment experience.
• Proficient with Excel and email.
• Ability to perform high quality repairs and maintain a clean working environment while in the field.

Responsibilities

• Fill out service reports, inspection checklists, and timecards within department guidelines.
• Completely finish all paperwork before moving to the next job; communicate extra time needed to dispatcher.
• Use SIS, ET, parts and service manuals for maintenance tasks.
• Properly segment jobs and order parts accordingly.
• Return unneeded parts and complete warranty documentation promptly.
• Communicate job status to customers and office personnel.
