Job summary

Staker Parson Companies is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to support maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of construction and aggregate equipment across assigned locations. The role focuses on preventing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability through diagnostics and field-based services.

You will work with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems while following safety policies and documenting work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipment or related machinery.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of heavy equipment including crushers, conveyors, loaders, excavators, dozers, and trucks.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and diesel systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections per manufacturer and company standards.
• Respond to field service calls and address breakdowns promptly.
• Maintain accurate work orders and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies (MSHA, OSHA, DOT).
• Assist with equipment installations and major rebuilds as needed.
