About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Technician/Mechanic with diesel, agricultural, or heavy equipment repair experience. Technicians are vital to our organization; hence, we provide comprehensive tools and resources:

Responsibilities

• Complete inspections focusing on asphalt-related equipment
• Remove and install parts
• Implement optional accessories
• Perform maintenance, diagnosis, troubleshooting, testing, and repairs

• Participate in in-house training to enhance skills
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality

Qualifications

• At least four years of heavy equipment or OTR repair experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude; knowledge of engines, power trains, hydraulics, electrical systems
• Own tools required
• Positive attitude and high energy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
• Effective communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Intermediate reasoning ability

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Physical activities: standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling
• Lifting: up to 100+ pounds occasionally
• Work conditions: near moving parts, exposure to fumes, outdoor weather, humid conditions, risk of electrical shock and vibration
