Position Overview

The Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic will perform routine maintenance, minor and major repairs on our fleet of equipment. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment during scheduled services to identify additional needs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment
• Conduct major repairs as necessary
• Document repairs and communicate findings to supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Record all service activities
• Supply personal tools required for the job
• Attend training sessions with equipment manufacturers as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical training preferred; additional training provided
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
