Job summary

Knife River is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic for our Idaho Falls division. The role requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with travel possible and exposure to extreme weather.

Qualifications

• 5+ years minimum experience with construction equipment, heavy paving experience is a plus.
• Must be able to diagnose components, troubleshoot, repair, communicate and document.
• Certifications and/or technical school experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work independently or as part of a team to service and repair heavy equipment.
• Travel may be required depending on project locations.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and safety-conscious environment.

Knife River is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic for our Idaho Falls division.

This position will require you to be able to work both independently and as a team player. Travel may be required and working in extreme weather conditions should be expected.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience: 5 + years minimum working with all phases of construction equipment. Heavy paving equipment experience is a plus.
• Must be able to diagnose component, troubleshoot, repair, communicate and document.
• Certifications and/or technical school experience is preferred.
