EquipmentShare in Montgomery, AL is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Diagnostic Mechanic (Shop) to diagnose and repair diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on our modern rental fleet using the T3 platform and diagnostic software.

Candidates should have hands-on experience, own tools, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma; OSHA familiarity is a plus; overtime opportunities are available in a safety‑sensitive role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Own your professional tool set.
• 21+ to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and hydraulic schematics.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Use schematics and diagnostic software to pinpoint faults.
• Document all work in T3 using a laptop/tablet.
• Support logistics with parts and equipment pick-up/delivery.
• Coach junior technicians and share best practices.
