Job summary

Taylor Defense Products, LLC in Louisville, MS is seeking an Assembly Operator to assemble and remanufacture production machines and prototype products. You will disassemble, upfit and retrofit systems while following schematics and blueprints with basic diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities include using hand and powered tools, interpreting manuals, and operating heavy equipment to inspect and test assemblies. Strong adherence to 5S and quality standards is required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required and ability to read and interpret blueprints/technical material.
• Three years of assembly experience; heavy equipment assembly preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED; Auto Mechanic associate’s degree or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and remanufacture production machines and prototype products.
• Disassemble, assemble, upfit and retrofit equipment systems (mechanical, lift, drive train, hydraulic).
• Follow instructions, schematics and blueprints; use tools, jigs and fixtures.
• Operate heavy equipment to inspect, troubleshoot and test; maintain records.
• Adhere to 5S program.
