Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen seeks a Yard Attendant to manage yard operations, coordinate truck movements and cargo loading, and maintain accurate terminal records. You will use handheld devices and terminal systems to track locations, work orders, and equipment types, contributing to process improvements while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role offers the chance to train new employees and requires adaptability to perform duties as assigned in all weather conditions.

• Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Great communication and teamwork mindset.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Willingness to learn new technology and equipment.

Overview

As a Yard Attendant, handling breakbulk cargo is not your every day run of the mill job. If you're looking for a job that's never boring, and you enjoy handling cargo, keep reading. The Yard Attendant is responsible for accurately loading out cargo and maintaining terminal records for cargo loaded out/taken in as well as work orders associated with said cargo.
