Job summary

CSM Kenworth Columbus is seeking a Service Foreman to organize, lead, and control the flow of service work through the shop, ensuring quality repairs at a fair cost to the customer.

You will supervise Technicians, coordinate with the Service Manager, and maintain efficient repair order processing while upholding safety and service standards.

The role demands strong communication, hands-on supervision, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Formal technical school graduate certificate or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years in heavy duty truck service including repair orders, diagnostics, maintenance, and customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with repair orders and related workflows.
• Ability to supervise technicians and delegate work efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service shop workflow with Service Manager and assign jobs to Technicians.
• Supervise all assigned service Technicians.
• Coordinate activities between service, parts, and customers.
• Facilitate communication with customers, vendors, and business contacts.
• Ensure professional handling of service phone calls.
