Job summary

Cogent Analytics is seeking a qualified Service Technician (Heavy-Duty) to perform professional repair and maintenance work on heavy‑duty equipment. The technician will diagnose and service a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems on commercial trucks, ensuring safety and high workmanship standards.

You will use OEM diagnostic software (Cummins, PACCAR, Snap-on, JPRO, ECT), document findings on service orders, and communicate with fleet managers.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience repairing heavy-duty trucks or equipment.
• Experience with aftertreatment, brakes, transmissions, suspension, tires.
• Ability to document repairs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite diagnostic and repair work on heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
• Use OEM diagnostic software to identify issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work and communicate with fleet managers.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
• Diagnose and service aftertreatment, brakes, transmissions, suspension, tires, A/C, electrical systems.
• Document diagnostics and repairs on service orders.
