Our client is a family‑owned and operated truck and trailer repair shop specializing in dedicated fleet maintenance, with a focus on the car hauling industry. They are fully equipped to handle all aspects of heavy‑duty repair, offering top‑tier diagnostic tools and a professional, supportive work environment. They are seeking a qualified Heavy‑Duty (Class A) Diesel Diagnostic Service Technician to perform diagnostic and road service work for commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform offsite and onsite diagnostic and repair work on heavy‑duty commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose and maintain aftertreatment systems, engine check/stop engine lights, air conditioning, electrical, and lighting systems.
• Utilize OEM diagnostic software and tools (Cummins, PACCAR, Snap‑on, JPRO, ECT) to efficiently identify and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate with fleet managers or clients as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Maintain punctuality and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A driver’s license (Preferred).
• Proven experience as a heavy‑duty diesel technician, including diagnostic and road service experience (at least 5 years).
• Ability to professionally and efficiently diagnose and repair a wide range of heavy‑duty vehicle issues.
• Strong problem‑solving and mechanical skills.
• Valid Driver License.
